There’s been a steady decline in the number of kosher-style delis in Los Angeles. Even though pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are delicious, they’re not considered the kind of healthy food which has become popular. However, Langer’s Deli is one of the longest lasting and most crowded restaurants in town.
We spent some time with deli owner Norm Langer for this story, which aired on Spectrum News One, and even though it was a positive piece, Norm banned me from the place. I think it was because we interviewed his daughter Tricia, who opened her own deli on Sunset Boulevard.
