Vin Scully has earned a place in the pantheon of great American storytellers that includes Mark Twain and Will Rogers. Scully’s art was so much more than the 67 years he spent broadcasting Dodger baseball games, first in Brooklyn in the 1950s and later in Los Angeles. The major league players were Scully’s children, he told us the stories of their lives while describing thousands of games with great elegance. Vin loved Dodger Stadium, and talked about its creation in this interview with me.
